Betterhood: Essentia Gives Back to Movember!
November is here, and with it brings that amazing time of year… the mustaches are back! Thanks to the Movember Foundation every November we tend to be in awe of a man’s ability to grow a luscious Tom Selleck stache, or not quite sure that weird scraggly mustache will eventually turn into something more than some upper lip fuzz.
Getting involved with the Movember Foundation was an easy decision for Essentia because it’s personal. Essentia’s founder, Jack Dell’Accio, created the company after a family member was diagnosed with cancer. Aware that toxins have dramatically altered our environment and health, he set out to develop the world’s healthiest mattress with a dedication and drive that established Essentia’s culture. We see a healthier world, where we treat our bodies and our environment with the utmost respect, going beyond an organic mattress, we also have a commitment to helping our local communities.
This year we wanted to make giving back to the Movember Foundation in the name of changing the face of men’s health fun, which is why we’ll need your help! Essentia will donate $1 for every Instagram story or Facebook story posted showing off your stache with Essentia tagged in it. It’s that simple to give back, show off your stache and be sure to use the mention tag @essentiagram so we can see it.
We’re even making it easy to give back while you shop. During the month of November, we’ll have some fun props in all Essentia locations so you can get in on the giving even if you don’t have a mustache. Plus, we’ll even up our donation to $10 when you make a purchase at Essentia and share your ‘stache vid on the gram (be sure to tag @essentiagram). If you’ve been on the fence, this is the perfect time to grab yourself some new Essentia gear, or finally get that mattress we know you’ve had your eye on for so long! You’ll be giving yourself the gift of a good night and an even better day!
Game on gentlemen, let the staches grow!
Now we’ll be looking out for some epic staches to highlight, so we want to see them at all stages of stache glory from beginning to end. In case you need some inspiration for this year’s stache trend, the Movember Foundation has put together a great Mo style guide:
