Vegan MINKA Matt & Nat Bag

The laptop has become ubiquitous these days, and you want to cart yours around in security and style. Here are some eco-friendly laptop bags that can help protect the environment while also protecting your computer.

Based out of Montreal, Matt & Nat offers some vegan-friendly faux-leather laptop bags with linings made from recycled bottles. You can opt for their full-size Ritual shoulder bag or the more petite Ritual Small.

If you prefer a backpack style, you could try Onsight Equipment’s 101 Computer Pack, made from 60% recycled materials: according to the website, 36 plastic PET bottles go into making each one. The backpack features reflective panels to increase visibility of the wearer at night and also has several handy pockets and panels.

If you’re looking for a sleeve that you can tote on its own or use inside a bigger bag, there’s the Eco-Friendly Laptop Sleeve from IMAGINE. All of their laptop computer bags are made from 100% PVC-free materials and use low-cadmium metals in the zipper pulls.

Great post Angela. I work for Mobile Edge, and we happen to make three laptop bags that are made out of corn stalks. We call this collection, the ScanFast 2.0 Collection. Made with DuPont’s Sorona material derived from corn, and also TSA compliant for airport security. Check out out by clicking on our “Green” Eco Initiative:

    Hi Matthew from Mobile edge,

There’s nothing Eco about the bag you’re selling made from genetically modified corn.
